Addressee Gone Away

Myles Meehan Gallery, Darlington

Rednile, co-founded by Michael Branthwaite, Janine Goldsworthy and Suzanne Hutton, have joined forces with Sarah Warden in a week-long residency culminating in this site-specific, collaborative show. The title ‘Addressee Gone Away’ represents the continuous change in occupation of any given surroundings: what is created afresh and what is left behind. The artists have spent the residency reacting to each other’s work and to the finer, traditionally overlooked features of Myles Meehan, a traditional ‘white cube’ gallery. The show will represent this sense of process and change through a variety of sculpture, installation and drawings, traces of which will remain in the space long after the show is finished.
