This was a research residency entitled ‘Landing Strip’ based at Art Gene Ltd, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. rednile artists collaborated with Cumbrian artist Bryan Eccleshall over 2 months working on the ‘landing’ outside Art Gene’s main gallery space and explored their practice investigating art in public spaces and site considered art. The residency also involved the exploration of potential exhibition/art project venues within the town of Barrow and a period of time making working and collecting research from locals on a stall in Barrow indoor Market.
