Factory Nights are a series of events in unusual, inspiring locations or ‘ hidden gems.’ Factory Nights bring together creative people from a wide range of disciplines including visual artists, musicians, writers, performers and curators for one night only to make new work and initiate ideas. A selection of new ideas are then supported through our New Commissions and New Collaborations fund. Some of the aims of Factory Nights include activating unused spaces, forge relationships between art and businesses and increase awareness of local talent to Local Authority. Factory Nights 2011-2012 are supported by Arts Council England, The British Council, Multistory, Stoke On Trent City Council, Staffordshire University, Redcar and Cleveland Council, Middlesbrough Council’s MYEVENT programme along with many other project partners. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Become a member of the Factory Nights Facebook Group: FACEBOOK group page Become a fan of rednile and keep up to date with the latest opportunities and events: FACEBOOK fan page
